 literally can’t believe i have to go to reddit to find the most fellow fans excited for murderbot. REDDIT. the place i notoriously tend to avoid in terms of fandom because people get so insufferable on there. i’m so excited for the show yet i also feel so bummed out because there is so much negativity everywhere whenever i try to browse the tag. like we seriously need a critical/neg tag on tumblr so i can block it. i came across a post that said they wanted to make gifs of the trailer but didn’t want to deal with a ton of people flocking to the notes and complaining about the casting :( maybe i’ll bust out my gif skills and see if i remember anything about it lol! idk it’s just like. the show is already filmed, martha herself is happy with the casting, i don’t really see how this is productive. just don’t watch the show then. i’m not even going to browse twitter ig because there’s multiple hit tweets from non fans being like “ughhh why does it have a human face that’s so lame” like bro. i generally am fine that the trailer took a more comedic approach but now im wishing it didn’t so that these people would understand why it’s so important to the plot that secunit has a human appearance. i guess they’ll have to watch to find out but im sure they won’t. idk. bluesky is pretty positive too especially because martha’s on there and she’s been posting some fun tidbits about the show, but the problem with bluesky is that no one posts on there lol. like it’s so inactive compared to other platforms. maybe that’s a good thing
